This is where this journey starts...........
After much deliberating, my husband and I decided to leave the coast and head for the bright city lights in aid of more family time and opportunities. We were up for the challenge of purchasing an old Queenslander and giving it some much needed love and attention. I would say the house we purchased was a typical Queenslander, most likely built in the 1940-1950 era. It consisted of 2 bedrooms and a sleepout along with a off centred roof.
At the first opportunity we organised the cleaning up our yard site and the raising and re-stumping of the house.
